Answer: “I recall a situation where I had to decide whether to let go of a team member who was consistently underperforming. I took the time to speak with the team member one-on-one and tried to understand the root cause of their performance issues. After careful consideration, I ultimately made the decision to let them go, as it was in the best interests of the team and the company. I use tools such as Trello and Asana to create project boards and track progress, and I make sure to schedule regular check-ins with my team to ensure that everyone is on track. I also try to break larger projects down into smaller, more manageable tasks and prioritize them based on deadlines and importance.”

How do you handle conflict or disagreement within your team?

Answer: “I believe that it is important to approach conflict in a calm and constructive manner. When I encounter disagreement within my team, I try to listen to all perspectives and encourage open and honest communication. I also try to focus on finding a solution that is mutually beneficial and respects the needs and concerns of all parties involved. If necessary, I may facilitate a team meeting or bring in a mediator to help resolve the conflict.”

Describe a time when you had to give feedback to a team member who was not meeting expectations. How did you handle the situation, and what was the outcome?

Answer: “I had a situation where a team member was consistently missing deadlines and not meeting the standards of quality that we had set for the team. I took the time to sit down with them one-on-one and clearly communicate the specific areas where they were falling short.
